Kadzo Kangwana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specialized in the treatment of eating disorders and trauma. Kadzo’s work to support the recovery of clients with eating disorders draws primarily from relational-cultural theory. Kadzo is trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy®, a method that integrates the emotional and rational systems of the brain to rapidly and effectively heal emotional pain. Since 2011 Kadzo has used Rapid Resolution Therapy® with clients to heal anxiety, anger, phobias and trauma caused by sexual, physical and emotional abuse, parental abandonment, accidents, the loss of loved ones, and the diagnosis of debilitating diseases. Kadzo is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). When Kadzo is not working with clients in a therapeutic setting, she gives workshops and talks on authentic relationships, parenting and mental health. Kadzo has a passion for supporting women and parents through writing about mental health, parenting and personal growth. She holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Union Institute & University, and an MSW from the University of Connecticut. Kadzo has lived on four continents, and she has experience in international conservation and community empowerment. She also holds a PhD in Zoology from Cambridge University and a BA in Zoology from Oxford University. Kadzo draws on her broad life experience and understanding of many cultures in her work with clients, and she welcomes clients from all backgrounds.
